Endodontics at Majestic Smiles

Root Canals in Lower Plenty

Root canal therapy is an important aspect of dental care that allows your badly damaged tooth to be preserved. Unless problems such as cavities are caught early on, the decay can spread deeper into your tooth. Endodontic therapy makes it possible to retain the tooth, instead of removing it.

When at all possible, we prefer to identify problems before they result in an abscessed tooth. Regular dental check-ups allow us to pinpoint concerns when they are simpler to correct.

We will take an x-ray of your tooth to examine the area inside of and around the root. We’ll also examine the tooth and perform certain tests on it to determine whether or not nerve damage has occurred.

Microscopic Endodontics

Majestic Smiles has advanced microscopic technology that makes your root canal more efficient and successful. We use the microscope to see into the chamber of the tooth at the time of the treatment, giving us an up-close view of infected areas. This makes your experience easier and quicker.

During a root canal, the nerve chamber is thoroughly cleaned and then sealed off. This prevents reinfection. After your root canal, a crown will need to be placed over the tooth to strengthen and protect it.
